Paul creates coaching programs for adult and junior students to help them improve quickly. Fifteen of his students have earned spots in the U.S. Kids Golf World Championships held annually at the Pinehurst Resort. Prior opening his own facility close to his home in Red Bank, Paul was the Director of Instruction at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.
Paul Kaster, Golf Instructor
Paul learned the game on Chicago’s historic public Jackson Park Golf Course. He attended Colgate University and was co-captain of the golf team before he left early to play professional golf. Paul competed for three years on the Golden Bear (now Gateway) tour and other mini-tours but an injury thwarted his quest to play on the PGA TOUR.
Paul returned to school at Rutgers University and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with highest honors. He earned a Juris Doctorate Degree, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law, and passed the bars in New York and New Jersey. For several years, Paul worked as a child protective services prosecutor in the New Jersey Attorney General's office before returning in 2011 to a career in golf.
Paul uses his competitive experiences while coaching clients. In 2015, he advanced in the U.S. Open local qualifying with a score of 69 at Montammy Country Club, Alpine, New Jersey. Paul also led the Forsgate team to victory with 9 birdies at the 2015 NJPGA Open Pro Am at Bedens Brook Club, Skillman, New Jersey.
